An introduction - NanoWrimo 2005: Order and Chaos
I had a couple of ideas for this year's Nanowrimo.
The first one is to write about my Exalted character - Sparkling Rain on Whispering Willow - from her childhood up to the time when she met the women (and occasional man) who is to be her circlemates and form the Exalted Spice Girls! I have written up a short backstory on Rain when I first joined the Exalted game, so I have an idea of what to write, although stretching it to 50,000 words will take some doing, I must say.
The second idea is not so much an idea - it's just two characters that popped up in my head in a rather vague way. I have no plot, no storylines, just two rather blurry entities and their secretaries. Which is really no way to write a book.
I started writing Rain's story, but a couple of paragraphs later, I lost interest, and started on Order and Chaos instead. This is what I came up with...
